more pictures from Kids English Adventure

I love this picture!!!! They were having so much fun!!! I forgot name of the game. But easy and so fun.
One of the water games that they had.
Yuuga blind folded his eyes and trying to bring a marble into the cup far away.
This game, you need to trust your partner and listen to wherever your partner tells you to go.
Blind folded one was a bit hard for those kids so we decided to unfold so it was easier.
This is Kouga beating his little brother in the back. haha
They are such a cute kids.

Kids English Adventure 2011. God is so good...

Thank you everyone for praying for our first Kids English Adventure.

This morning it was raining hard here in Nago. But it stopped, so we were able to head out to the beach (baseball park area). This is sooooo amazing about God!! I believe that the Lord allowed it to rain before it started so that it's not too hot but nice and cool.

While we were waiting I thought...ummm will anyone come, Lord??
But God says wait...and we waited and Tim received an e-mail from one of the kids' mom that was planning on coming. She says...I'm sorry kids got sick so we cannot make it...
I thought ummm so should we cancel it? But Tim walked to see if anyone was still coming and a mom with two kids came. They come to the English class.
Kouga(5 years old) & Amanda
Yuuga (2 years old)& Tim
We were able to have fun with them and just love those kids.

I think it was a great lesson for me today. Because it's not the number of how many people come. But it's so simple...we just need to obedient to the Lord and love the people God brings.

He that is faithful in that which is least is faithful also in much: and he that is unjust in the least is unjust also in much. -Luke 16:10

In this picture everyone is kinda busy with themselves but still they are cute!! haha

5 years and more to come^^

By the grace of God^^ We celebrated our 5th wedding anniversary. ahaha but it was on November 26th of 2010! ahaha soon it'll be 6 years! PRAISE THE LORD!

God blessed me with a wonderful husband that I can never ask for. Now we have two little angels. One is 2 and other one is 9 months! Time flies ne!!!!!!!!!

I love you Tim,
Though one may be overpowered by another, two can withstand him. And a threefold cord is not quickly broken. -Ecclesiastes 4:12

Diaz the cute shinkon-san are here!

The harvest truly is plentiful, but the laborers are few. Therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest. -Matthew 9:37 & 38

Yes!! That's right they are here in Nago^^
Eder and Amanda are living in Nago!!!!! They are helping us in ministries and Eder works at a local English school with John-san(I always laugh when I hear Eder saying John-san...haha)

↑This is when we had an English fun night!
We try to have fun with the youth on Saturday. So far we had Wii party, Movie night and Monopoly night and Eigo night. One night when we had a short message about God, one of the students eyes got wade open and just amazed to hear why Jesus died for us.

The harvest truly is plentiful, but the laborers are few. Therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest.

I thank God for them because they are so willing and love the youth and little kids and having them we are now able to minister to the area we couldn't do.

A lot of people never heard the gospel around here. It makes me so sad and the verse of Matthew goes in my mind. But God showed me HE can provide and now we have the Diaz family with us and so excited to see what the Lord does in our lives!!!

CCBC

Yes, it is always fun to have the guys from CCBC .(Calvary Chapel Bible College)

I think this is old picture but the newest picture we have??

Anyways...haha
for sure each one of students that are here awesome and fun group!! They lean the bible, the Japanese language and like how to serve in ministries and stuff...

This semester starts next week so keep them (students, teachers, interns and families) in your prayers. Enemy wants to attack and discourage people when God does something cool.

Us Nagonians are so excited to meet our new friends God will bring!!!!!!!! yatta----^^

Mami-chan^^

Okay, everyone:D
Let me introduce my friend Mami-chan.
She is my VERY FIRST Christian friend the Lord brought me here in Nago while I was pregnant with Tomoki. I met her at a ladies clinic where I used to go for baby check-ups...

Now, she's living in Hokkaido and I miss her very much. Please continue to pray for her steps of faith and to be light & salt wherever she goes.

When I think about her I am encouraged. That's how much cheerful she is=)

Tomoki Aaron Newell

Meet our Jinanbo-(second son) Tomoki Aaron Newell.
He was born in November 2nd 2010. It was so fun giving a birth...haha it really was=)

Look at my proud husband/daddy!!!!! Tim looks so happy to hold the baby.

Now, look at Tomoki's face. I just wanna know what he's thinking in this picture...lol

Here is my mom, Tomoki and big brother Masaki.
It was like 30min to an hour since Tomoki was born, Masaki met his little brother...!!

Both of the kids are doing well. Actually Masaki loves his little brother!!! and Tomoki also loves to hang out with his big brother...!!! I hope they become best friends growing up...!!

Experiencing Izu Peninsula

Wonderful sites, food and people!
ITO- City and IZU Peninsula put together makes: ITo IZu a wonderful place!

One of the few rice fields in this area! I love the view!

-------------------------
Welcome to Shimota
Shimota has a lot to offer!!! Beautiful Beaches, Beautiful Boat Ports and Historical Sites!!!

This place is called "Perry Road."

Here's some historical information I pulled off the internet...
This road is located between the monument of Perry's landing and Ryosenji temple. In 1853, Commodore Mathew C. Perry arrived at Japan to request the openning of Japanese port to the United States ship. In 1854, a treaty of Japan and the United States was concluded to American ships. The signning ceremony for the "Japan -U.S. Peace Treaty" was held at
Ryosenji temple.

Great Food!
I know this picture doesn't look very tasty, but that's because it still wasn't cooked yet!
What you are looking at is Ayu Fish on top and Deer Meat on the bottom. Both were a first for me. One of the the locals gave it to the people running the guesthouse I stayed at. Both were cooked with only using salt and they both were AMAZING!!!
*My wife Ayu was named by her grandfather after this fish. It's a very clever energetic fish that only swims in clean rivers! Since it's very difficult to catch it is expensive to get your hands on. It was a once in a life time chance so I had two of them!

------------
The Local Legendary Surfers!
These are some really cool guys!
I was so blessed to spend time with them!
Let me introduce you to them using their nicknames.

"Kero-Chan", "K!Chan", "Toto" & "The Surf Legend"
(from left to right)

"Kero-Chan" is the very kind man that showed me all around the town to the beautiful sites! We had some really good conversations!
"K!Chan" and his wife run the beautiful guesthouse (Kanoka Yado) I stayed at. A very welcoming family with a cute daughter (Koko-Chan) the same age as Masaki!
"Toto" and his wife run another guesthouse down the road. Right when you walk in the door they have surf boards set up, he's a real relaxed funny guy!
"The Surf Legend" that's what they call him but I didn't spend much time with him so I don't know too much about him. Maybe we can catch some waves next time!

If you ever visit the area, you have gotta meet these guys!

I was given the opportunity to go to mainland Japan for an English Day Camp. So I took the opportunity, I spent 4 days in Shizuoka then after the English Day Camp I traveled to Tokyo and Saitama to spend 9 days with some Christian brothers and sisters, fellowshipping and teaching the Word.

I hope you are encouraged as you read my blogs about my journey.

-----------------
Mount Ohya

This is a one of a kind dormant volcano. I say that because how beautiful it is. Every year the mountain takes on seven different colors. All the land around is here today because of this volcano, and as you can see the sight is breath-taking. On a clear day you are able to see Mount Fuji, Tokyo and Chiba from the top of this volcano!!! Wow!

----------------------------
This is a big tourist spot, and it's interesting because they have made an archery range in the middle of the volcano.

------------------
Around the rim of the volcano there are idols set up. But if you really think about it, they were made by man's hands, but we all know that we and that volcano were made by GOD'S HANDS! The True and Living God! He is able to sustain us and speak to us because He isn't a statue, He's alive!

------------------
It is at the park located at the bottom of the mountain that we held our Active-English activities. The weather was beautiful and the kids were full of energy! It was a fun time and I hope to be invited back again.
